What Therapy With Me Looks Like
Therapy with me is a place where you can be yourself, talk honestly, and figure things out without having to have all the answers. We’ll start with what’s going on in your life and work together to understand what’s behind it and what you want to change.
As a high school counselor and therapist, I understand the world teens and young adults are navigating. School, college, work, relationships, family, friendships, and figuring out your future can all affect how you feel and how you see yourself.
We might explore your thoughts and emotions, relationships, patterns you keep getting stuck in, or experiences that have shaped you. We’ll also look at what’s happening in your life right now and what you need to move forward.
I’m an active therapist. I’ll ask questions, help you make connections, offer perspective, teach practical skills, and be direct when it’s helpful. At the same time, I want therapy to feel collaborative. You know yourself best, and we’ll work together to figure out what fits for you.
Sometimes you need to understand yourself better. Sometimes you need practical tools. Sometimes you need someone to help you see something from a different perspective. Therapy can be all of those things.
